Pilates offers endless routes for discovery in the body - there is no “finish line”, only new possibilities and curiosities. The awareness I have from a lifetime of dance training has been deepened through the opportunity to slow down and tune in. The focus on capacity has shifted my focus away from thinking critically about my body to a gratitude for it’s ability. Pilates has given me relief from years of chronic back pain and brings me joy every time I practice.
